Catch up on some of today's music news! From Black Avenue Music celebrating 15 years of shaping Ghana's sound, to G Herbo and Babyface Ray dropping new albums, plus the Sea.Hear.Now festival bringing beachside vibes. Get all the latest updates and tune in to fresh releases.

First off, Black Avenue Music is celebrating 15 years in the game. You might not know it if you’re outside of Ghana, but this label has been a powerhouse. Founded by D-Black, they’ve given us some of the country’s most fire tracks and launched careers of stars like Joey B and S3fa. It's a wild ride for them—think of it as Ghana’s version of Cash Money or Roc-A-Fella. To mark the occasion, they’re rolling out a whole slate of events, talent showcases, and even a short documentary series. It’s not just about the music, though; it’s about their journey of turning raw talent into superstardom.

On the hip-hop side of things, G Herbo just came back with a bang. His new album Big Swerv dropped, and it’s his first release in two years. After handling some personal stuff, he’s back with a message: the streets are still hungry, and he’s here to feed them. It’s got that energy we’ve come to expect from Herbo, and fans are already buzzing. Also, Babyface Ray isn’t messing around either—he just released The Kid That Did, a monster of an album with 25 tracks. If you’ve been craving some solid, no-skip hip-hop, this is it.

Lastly, we’ve got the Sea.Hear.Now Festival kicking off in Asbury Park. Think of it as a perfect blend of beach vibes and killer music. You’ve got a lineup that covers everything from indie rock to big-name acts, all while being right on the sand. If you’ve ever wanted to catch live music while the ocean’s crashing in the background, this is the festival for you.
