I asked Chesney “What inspired you to release your own customized fragrance?” She answered “Well, there goes my secret! I’m ruined. I am a fashion freak. I binge-watch Fashion Week and fashion shows. I have an obscene amount of fragrances, too.  I guess if I could say I collect something, it would be fragrances. I started doing research about 3 years ago into what it would take to pull off my own signature scent. I knew nothing but I was learning behind your backs! My inspiration comes from my love for fashion. This fragrance is 100% a “statement scent”.

I then asked, “If you could choose, Which celebrity would you want to wear and endorse your fragrance?”

Although she pictures someone sophisticated with salt and pepper hair and a briefcase, she says “An endorsement from Post Malone would be great. (Everyone's always calling him “Stinky”. LOL) He’s also one of my peers, so that’s the one!"

"A female that I adore for so many reasons and that I would LOVE to endorse my fragrance is Miley Cyrus. She’s what I picture when I see a Badass woman wearing this fragrance!”

My next question was “How do you manage being a producer, musician, songwriter, actress, and now fragrance franchise?” She replied “I have so many titles now that I’m seriously just picking the best ones and leaving the rest off. Ha!"

"I am a singer and a songwriter. I’m a self-taught Music Producer. I’m an Engineer. I’m an actress and a print model, so that’s 6 titles. I’d just rather keep using “singer/songwriter”  but then I’ll be mistaken for someone who comes to the table with a guitar on my knee. Seems like everyone is always cutting eyes my way as to say, “Awww look how sweet. She wants to make music.” They don’t know I started making music when I was an embryo. I’m young and healthy and always ready for my next project, so when I first started working on this years ago, I took my time and did everything right. It took 3 years. It just so happened that the manufacturer called and said, “It’s ready”. I couldn’t wait. I had to get it out immediately!”

Following that question, I asked her “What would your slogan be and could you explain the significance?”

She was happy to say “Love that question! I tossed this one around for a while, but the way things worked out is I had to smell the final fragrance and sit with it on my body for a few hours. I’d think then sniff then think and sniff until the fragrance painted a picture in my mind of a gentleman dressed in a black suit and bowtie. With him was a woman in a black dress with a plunging back. They were what I was smelling so after careful consideration, I came up with “When a scent becomes a statement.”

When I asked, “Who do you think will resonate most with your product?” She said that it is hard to tell so far. “It’s been out for public consumption for 1 day. You guys are right on time for the party!!"

"Sales so far today indicate around 60% of purchases so far are from men but the cool thing is that 40% of them are women!"

"I think this fragrance is for all ages and all genders. It quite simply compliments the world.”

I asked her what motivated her to call it “Première Partie”. She said, “I am from French heritage. My last name is Hébert. Since I am sure this will not be my last fragrance, I named it “Part 1”. Première Partie means Part 1."

I then asked, “What would you tell fragrance collectors globally about your particular scent?”

She responded, “I’d say to get you some! The scent is designer. It was well thought out and tested on both men and women."

"The results are astounding, really! A fragrance truly designed for both men and women. And if you believe in me and believe in my music career, then you’ll know that in time the scent will appreciate in value. Get “Premiere Partie” now and collect all the pieces in the collection."

Lastly, I asked if she could give a sweet message to her fans who are looking to dive into her fragrance for the first time. Her reply was “A sweet message? DO it! If you are on the fence about the fragrance, GET IT! Do what I like to do. Walk up to the edge of the cliff and DIVE!!! Trust your instincts after reviewing the ingredients. Trust Me.”
